Subject: Thursday January 28, 2010 Luncheon Meeting

SPECIAL NOTE: WILL BE HELD AT THE JFK HOLIDAY INN

Our distinguished guest speaker for the January 28, 2010 luncheon will be, Mr. Jim McCaffrey, Vice President, Safety, & Compliance with British Airways World Cargo (BAWC).

Jim is responsible for safety and supply chain security oversight, policy and regulatory compliance. He acts as the BAWC liaison to government authorities throughout the Americas including TSA, FAA, CBP and Transport Canada. Jim is the Cargo representative on British Airways’ Senior Manager Emergency Response Team.

We are eager to hear Mr. McCaffrey share his perspective and outlook on air cargo safety, security & compliance.

Mr. McCaffrey has served as VP Safety & Compliance since January 2002. Prior to his current role, Jim was Vice President Customer Service for BAWC in the Americas. He has also held air cargo management positions with Qantas and Japan Airlines.

During his career, Jim has contributed to the development of air cargo security programs in the USA (TSA Aviation Security Advisory Committee: ASAC Air Cargo Working Group) and Canada (Transport Canada Expert Working Group – Cargo). He currently represents British Airways in the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Secure Freight Advisory Group.

Jim is a Vice President of the JFK Air Cargo Association and a Professional Member of the American Society of Safety Engineers. He is the founder and former Chairman of the Foreign Air Carrier Group, established to jointly improve air carrier compliance with Air AMS.

Jim successfully completed the UK Department for Transport Security Manager training during 2009. He holds an MBA in Management/Finance from Adelphi University.
