Subject: April 24, 2008 Luncheon Meeting

Our distinguished guest speaker for April 24, 2008 luncheon will be, Ms. Mary Jo Muoio. Ms. Muoio will be speaking to Customs Border Protection – Anti-Terrorism Initiatives and how as it relates to our industry.
 
Mary Jo Muoio is Sr. Vice President of Barthco Trade Services, a wholly owned division of Barthco International, Inc, an Ozburn-Hessey Logistics company.  Before assuming leadership of the consulting division, Ms. Muoio was a Senior Vice-President of Barthco International, Inc, a leading customs broker and forwarder.  Ms. Muoio has been with Barthco for over 25 years.  She is a licensed customs broker, having passed the exam with the highest score in the nation. 

Ms. Muoio currently serves as President of the National Customs Brokers and Forwarders Association of America, Inc.  She currently serves on the Trade Support Network Entry, Legal Policy and International Trade Data Systems committees. She is on the Board of the Maritime Association of the Port of NY NJ and on the Industry Leadership Council for the American Association of Exporters and Importers. 

Come and join us at 11:45 AM on Thursday, April 24, 2008 at the Holiday Inn JFK to hear Ms. Muoio's perspective on how the latest CBP Anti-Terrorism Initiatives may impact you and/or your organization!
