Dear Friend,

For all of us at Island Harvest, I extend heartfelt thanks for your extremely generous gift of $1,000. Your contribution is a meaningful gift, but, just as importantly, it provides support that will help us to ensure that our neighbors in need have access to nutritious food and supportive services this year.

For the 300,000 Long Islanders who struggle to put food on the table, Island Harvest brings hope. We offer specialized services and support to adults, children, seniors, veterans and families of active military personnel. We also provide needed food in difficult times. Last year alone, we collected and distributed over 14 million pounds of food (or over 10 million meals) to help many thousands of hungry people in our communities. And with it all – services, support and meals – we have changed lives.

Your generosity will help to change lives this year; it means that we can get more food, services and support to those who have been struggling. We genuinely appreciate your support, and we hope that it can be just one part of your ongoing relationship with Island Harvest. So, on behalf of everyone at Island Harvest, I extend a warm invitation to call or visit at your convenience, so that you can see our work – and your investment in us – in action. And please visit our website, www.islandharvest.org, for ways to help and stay involved.

Thank you so much.

Sincerely,

Randi Shubin Dresner
President and CEO

Dear Friends:

Please accept a most sincere thank you for your very generous $6,000.00 donation. This gift will help us immeasurably as we strive to find a cure for pancreatic cancer.

The Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer Research is committed to bringing this long-ignored disease to the forefront of cancer research. Since its inception, The Lustgarten Foundation has provided more than $90 million for promising research into early detection and treatment. Today, we are the largest private supporter of pancreatic cancer research.

On behalf of The Lustgarten Foundation community, we thank you again for your kindness.

Cordially,
